Accountability
Ensuring health and safety for everyone involved, our hens included
Pearl Valley Farms is driven by our high attention to detail and commitment to ensure our hens are raised in a clean, hazard-free environment. The farm was an early adopter of many humane animal care practices and industry safety standards, including multiple bio-security measures, to minimize the potential for risk to our hens, employees and consumers. Furthermore, we use third party audits to certify our procedures and make sure that we keep delivering the best products available.

FDA Compliant
U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Egg Safety Final Rule requires preventative measures during the production of eggs in poultry houses and requires subsequent refrigeration during storage and transportation to prevent food borne illnesses. In addition, the Egg Safety Final Rule is fairly new, but Pearl Valley Farms has been testing for Salmonella Enteritidis for more than 15 years and currently does more testing than the Final Rule requires.
